-Our Story-
Diggity Dog Outings Daycare & Boarding
Six years ago, I met someone who was taking dogs from the city out to explore nature—parks, trails, and open spaces. I was offered the chance to join and work with some of these dogs. From the very first day, I was hooked.
There was something special about it—the way the dogs responded, the peace of being outdoors, and the pure joy I felt. I found myself waking up each morning eager and excited to go to work. By the end of that first day with my group of dogs, I knew without a doubt: this is what I wanted to do with my life.
Since that moment, I’ve had the privilege of boarding, running, playing, and traveling with over 100 different breeds, each with their own personalities and quirks. It's been a rewarding and inspiring journey.
Today, Diggity Dog Outings Daycare & Boarding is more than just a business—it’s a family passion.
I’m Mike, and alongside me are my wife Annette and our four amazing kids: Mikhael, Alexyss, Egypt, and Deja. Each of us is hands-on and fully involved in caring for the dogs in our camp.
We’re also proud dog parents ourselves to three wonderful pups: Riley, Bo, and Jack—each of whom plays a part in making every dog feel welcome and at home.
At Diggity Dog Outings, your dog isn’t just a camper—they’re part of our extended family.

"Dogs are family and we couldn’t be happier and more comfortable having Mike and the Diggity Dog Outings team take Barney on daily escapades out of the city. The love and attention they give him is just as though Barney is part of their family and the places they take him are the best. He’s learned to swim in the summer, frolicked in the winter snow , and hikes and runs all year round. It’s amazing how every morning he gets excited to put on his harness, and patiently waits for the Diggity Dog van to pick him up. When it arrives, he jumps all over Mike and the team and can’t wait to get in the van with all of his doggie friends, and could care less about Mommy and Daddy. The care, exercise and love he gets is second to none and we highly recommend Diggity Dog Outings for your family member."
